WTAQ to Have Announcement on Bader Tomorrow

Here's hoping it's just a suspension from the air.

WTAQ Announcement

Bader is a friend, both on and off-line.  Part of it's ideological, part of it's the fact we've both lived and worked in the Sheboygan area for part of our lives.  When Jerry was in Washington for a conference doing his show last year, we got lunch together and I then acted as both his tour guide and photographer as he wanted his picture taken near many of the National Mall's familiar landmarks.

I'm not going to deny thay Jerry made a huge career mistake, but I seriously believe he had the facts to back up his report when he posted it.  This no doubt was a grave error on his part, but me as a friend who doesn't want to see it cost him his job.

    We need more Jerry's that take chances and make mistakes. We are not all perfect in life. America was made by people that took chances on their beliefs, OUR FOUNDING FATHERS.

    Consider his firing a done deal.
    Duke gets the chance to dump an aging vet for a younger, much cheaper,
    option. kevin if your'e still looking you should apply.
    option b is a syndicated show, again far cheaper!

    If he had the facts when he released the story, then why would he "retract" it. C'ome-on!!!! Grt real. Maybe now he'll be forced to find a real job rather than just sit there and wag his tongue. which obviously isn't connected to his brain. I vote to bring back Bill LuMaye.

    Bill LeMay is in the Carolinas I doubt he'll be brought back. LOL -- on a regular basis I get Blogger Beer visits based on Bill Lemay searches. I never much cared for him.

    I know Bill is out on the east coast and I'm sure he wouldn't want to come back to GB. But I'm sure if Bader is fired Bill will be smiling because it was shortly after Bader came to GB that Bill was gone and Jerry was on the air. I listen to him only because he's the only conservative "gig" in town, can't stand his radio style, he has a very annoying laugh, takes FOREVER to get to the subject he's discussing, and I think he's gotten too big for his britches, he's let his on air radio job go to his head. Don't know if you listen to him but earlier this year he got into a feud (in his mind only) with Mark Behling over some story Jerry broke and then Mark gave the details on his show a day or two later and didn't give credit to Bader. Bader was livid, went on air and in a round about way said he could do something to Behling's career. Bader was in Madison at the tea party rally April 15th and of all the speakers he was booring.
    Lots of comments left on the Press Gazette story yesterday and there are some who think he was set up, suckered in by his "source". Only time will tell, I'm sure this will all come out in the end. I loved Beck yesterday and would welcome him every day.

    Bader will be fired. He is a liability to the station, which could lose its license for his idiotic commentary. Good riddance to a complete asshole.

    Why would WTAQ lose its license over this? Isn't that the sort of banter that made Howard Stern rich?
