The Face of Liberal Civility

It’s already national — hell it’s on Drudge — but this is travesty and sadly all too expected given the state of mental decline in Wisconsin’s liberal and progressive circles.  Eventually someone would get beat up over something as trivial as a lawn sign, and that guy just happened to be the son of a sitting state senators.

Way to go “tolerate left.”  Way to prove yourselves the morally superior ones…again.

State Senator Neal Kedzie says his son was attacked while trying to stop someone from stealing his Romney/Ryan yard sign.

Whitewater Police tell NBC15 News this is an active investigation.

Here is the statement released by Senator Neal Kedzie:

Early on Friday morning, October 19th, my son Sean was awakened by noises outside his residence in Whitewater. As he went to see what the commotion was about, he noticed an individual removing a Romney/Ryan yard sign from his property. He yelled to the person that they were taking something not theirs and to return it immediately.

The individual returned the sign, however, a second person confronted and attacked Sean without warning.

Sean was wrestled to the ground by both persons, held down by a constricting chokehold, and struck repeatedly about the face and head.

He nearly passed out from the chokehold and suffered contusions to his face and eyes.

Fortunately, an alert neighbor heard the commotion, scared the individuals away, and called the police.

My wife and I were awakened by a telephone call from Sean’s roommate that Sean had been taken by ambulance to Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.

Sean was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital the same day.

Didn’t hear it, but I’ve seen some are reporting that WISN talk radio host had Sean Kedzie on his show this afternoon to talk about the attack.

Since I’m the only conservative blogger in WI who still ventures into the liberal blogs since they’ve all lost their minds, it is interesting to note that none of them have yet to comment on this news.

Blogging Blue has a very clear denunciation of this terrible act (http://bloggingblue.com/2012/10/22/son-of-state-senator-attacked-over-yard-sign/).

Notice the absence of accusation of false flag, which would surely have been the claim were the party ID reversed.

Yeah, it came after my post.

And notice that Jeff “I point the Republican Thugs!” Simpson hasn’t chimed in yet.

My RSS reader says they beat you by 13 hours. Don’t see a timestamp on your article, so how do we know for sure?

Recalibrate your clock, Jim. The RSS feed says Kevin got his post up at 7:48:36 pm. Zach’s showed up at 8:28 pm.

Just saying what my feed reader says. Not saying it’s infallible.

I would bet that at least 99% of Obama supporters would not dream of removing yard signs in the first place, not to mention beating the snot out of a voter of an opposing party. The vast majority, nearly all, even, of Americans want what is best for our country. If we could use that as a starting point, maybe it would be easier to have a civil discussion about how to fix things.
