Tonette Walker Hospitalized With Appenedectomy

Here’s to a speedy recovery.

MADISON– Gov. Scott Walker’s spokesper­son says his wife has had a suc­cess­ful appen­dec­tomy Wednes­day after being taken to a hos­pi­tal with stom­ach pains.

The Gov­er­nor spent the night with her at a hospital.

Walker excused him­self from a vigil being held for the vic­tims of the shoot­ing at the Sikh tem­ple in Oak Creek. He says he needed to leave to be with his wife, Tonette.

Walker’s spokesman, Cullen Wer­wie, she was in the hos­pi­tal ear­lier Tues­day but was released, then went back later in the day.

Walker has also report­edly can­celed all pub­lic appear­ances for today to be with his wife.
